Can't stop SAPRouter Connection refused

Dear Gurus,

The SAP router is giving issues.

I could not stop the router using the command "saprouter -r"

It gives the error below:

I killed the process with the UNIX command kill -9.

The router is some "unknown" state and I cannot start it up again.

I suspect it could not be started because the tunnel was not open to the remote site.

Hi,

  • ERROR partner 'localhost:3299' not reached

The error msg seems that the sap router service is not running. Check whether u are able to test the RFC destination "SAPOSS" from any of ur SAP system. If no, then u can be sure that the service is not running.

if you are using SNC then saprouter -s command will not work. the start command would be something like this.

saprouter -r -G ./routerlog -S 3299 -K "p:CN=yourhostname, OU=0000nnnnnn, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" &

Try that out...
