Hello all,
We recently upgraded to OFFICE 2007 and have the latest SAP GUI aswell. A lot of the users are having no issues at all.
But some are getting an error "A Critical Program error has Occurred. The program will now terminate" when they try to refresh the workbook or change any filter values on the workbook in Bex Analyzer (excel 2007).
While the same workbook when opened on a different laptop with the same configuration works fine..
Any ideas??
Hello Mr,
If you are using Windows 7, you have to install SAPGUI 7.20 and the BI addons for 7.20.
Windows 7 and BEx Analyzer 3.x for SAPGUI 7.10 doesn't work.
Kind regards,
Edward John

Uninstall the GUI and BI/ BW addons completely and try downloading the latest patches for them from the service market place and install them freshly. This will fix the issue.

Hari

Hi,
If you BW system is 3.x version, check with your BASIS team if the BW patch 8 is applied or not. We also faced this problem after the installation of SAPGUI 7.10 version.
Also, you can check in the BEx, whether the BW add-ins are checked (menu bar of excel). If they are checked, uncheck them and then try again.
