Dear Guru,

here i am facing problem what is customizing procedure of production order? what is differenc between mdo4 and mdo5 exactly what we do in that plz give me major difference .

Customizing procedure.. I am understanding it fully but guessing it to be the Configuration settings for production orders.

OP00,OPJH,OPL8,OPU3,OPK4 and OPKP are some of them.. trying these t codes will help u.

MD04 and MD05 are just reports to understand the stock and requirements for a particular material..

MD04 is a dynamic one. After MRP run if any user creates sales order or demand by MD61, it will get updated in MD04.

But in MD05 , demand created after MRP run will not get update. So If you want to see result of MRP run after some time or days, you can see in MD05..MD05 shows the planning status when the MRP was run last time. Suppose if you want to check the stock history when last MRP run taken then it is available only in MD05.

For clear meaning...

If we do the GI or GR the stock value in MD04 gets updated but it will remains unchanged in MD05

until the next MRP run.

individual access : you need to enter a material and check the stock of that..

collective access: you need not enter a single material.. you can check the stock of more than a material by giving the plant and MRP controller..
