Problem while opening workbook

Dear All,

I am having problem with workbook. Bex query designer is working fine. Bex analyzer is working fine with queries but whenever i am trying to open a workbook is throws some critical error message and closes. I uninstalled Bex, SAP GUI, Excel and reinstalled them but it didn't worked. I am clueless pls guide.

This could be an issue with the way that the Roles and Authorizations were maintained on Workbooks... Did you check whether the respective user has access to these workbook which is stored in specific roles?

Also post the Critical error message here for further assistance.

Did you made any changes to the source query for this workbook ?

Create another workbook from same query and save and execute to know what was wrong with original workbook .. if the prob is for all workbooks then check SU53 and also ask basis team to trace your user while executing workook

Actually for few particular machines none of the workbooks are working. They all are using the same user id.

That means the problem is not with workbooks rather system configuration(Excel version..?)
