Data Binding - Odata Navigation is empty

Hi,

I have tried to creat a List Report with from the template. I have now recognized that I have in the section of the OData Binding no possibility to choose the "Odata Navigation" although I have created in the Odata service an Navigation Property and Association.

So my idea was to have a list with materials and when I click on the material line I get the supplier to this material.

In the Odata service it works from my point of view.

When I execute the following in the gatway client: /sap/opu/odata/SAP/...../ProductSet('HT-1000')/ToSupplier -> then I get the supplier of this product.

So what do I wrong?

What is the requirment to have in the odata binding the possiblity of "odata navigation".

I use Netweaver 7.4.

Thanks for some hints.

Regards

Jochen

Hi Jochen Harder

This issue looks weird.. It should ideally work.. Can you confirm how many odata collections you see in the drop down? If you select both of them any data is populated in the odata navigation?

Hi Mahesh,

thanks for your reply.

In the odata collection I have the possibility to choose "ProductSet" and "SupplierSet".

I don't understand what you mean "select both of them". In the Odata collection you can only select one!?. But it's independet which one I choose I have no possibility to have a navigation possibility.

Hi Jochen Harder

Yeah i was asking for that only.. It looks very weird.. Can you genereate another dummy odata service and check if the same issue is there? Is your webide on premise or cloud?

Mahesh

HI Mahesh,

my WebIDE is on premise.

I can try with a nother Odata service. But it will take a little - I'm actually not so familiar with this staff.

I come back.

Jochen
