i got error while i am taking backup , pls check the below logs .

Development server should not used TSM , I have changed initSID.sap [ util_file_online to tape].

find the file "error.log" in tsm installation directory (/opt/tivoli/ .../...) and assign writable permission to the file (666).
Sorry, I couldn't remember the exact path of the file..

Mostly these errors are caused by permission problems on the tdpo / tsm log file. You need to run tdpoconf as root and the corresponding log files are created with root permissions only. Just delete these log files or change the permissions of these log files (check your dsm.sys configuration file) and it should work.
