changing name in Org structure - central person

Hello All,

I have got request for name change in SRM. So, i have changed the name details in SU01 and it is not reflecting at central person. I even tried to edit but it was of no use.

Could you please help me on changing the name at central person in Org. structure.

Hello Muzamil,

If you cannot do changes regarding user name through SRM (using ITS or EP), make directly modifications in BP transaction (SAP GUI) for your user business partner: it will change name for your central person.

Thank you for the answers. updating the name in BP has resolved the problem.

I tried running the report "HRALXSYNC" adviced by Muthu, but i couldnt make it work. May be i missed something. I will check once again.

you must do it via MANAGE USER DATA via admin role.

Try to change suo1 user name

and run HRALXSYNC - for only that user and

i test when i get time today.

If you have HR-SRM Interface active for Org structure in SRM, then the contact person name is generally picked up from Personnel details in HR. Now if you ve changed this users name in SU01 in SRM, then the only option you have is updated the Business Partner associated with that Central Person using transaction Code BP.

Hi Muzamil,

Yes, Access T-code BP and enter the BP Number (This you will get from the org structure). Once you get the BP Number do the necessary changes in the BP Tcode. Once done go to Org strucutre...you will find the updated details
