Does anyone know if SAP will be more flexible in their B1 licensing model? Current the 4 option my partner provides is somewhat limiting the effectiveness of my employees as their jobs tend to over lap several areas.
I think the four types are:
professional, crm limited, financials limited, and scm limited. Wll they offer something like HR, crm+financial, production, etc..
I don't think there are any plans to change this model. They are from Day 1 of the application. Some of them even been discontinued for short period.
Thanks,
Gordon

I'll look into this in the SBO section thanks for the answers.

Hi,
I am not sure if you have checked the license comparison chart in order to know about the functionality authorization based on the license component (prof or all limiteds).
if the info about the authorization doesn't fit your company, you may propose to sap by posting message in the SBO development collaboration forum. SAP is an open hearted software vendor company.
Indeed, I agree with Gordon but there is no impossible for SAP to fullfill their end user's requirement. Probably, they can give work around at first.
