Missing SUT in TO item view (LTAP-LETYP)

Hello,

I have found that in some TOs SUT (storage unit type) is missing in the TOs. The picking process works fine but wondering why it is doing so. In one of the case I am picking 18 materials for a delivery system has created one TO but for some materials there is no SUT in TO....

I am still looking into it,

Please suggest, if any one has faced it earlier...

regards,

JPS

Hi,

SUT is defaulted from the material master. Please check if SUT is maintained for all the mateials in mateial master, WM2 view.

please maintain qunatity , Uom and SUT accordingly

Thanks, SUT values are already there in WM2 and UoM also.

I have checked and found there is no issue while putaway but when picking TO is created 'it' missing the SUT values for some materials...

SUT is defaulted from MM only and there is no other setting.

did you check in table LQUA whether all your quants have SUTs?

I guess that you dont get them in pickig TOs because the quants dont have them.

Then you need to find out how this quant was created.

Not all quants are created with goods receipts, it is as well possible with physical inventory.

Hi Jürgen,

I've exactly the same problem. When QUANT is created by pchysical inventory the field LQUA-LETYP is not filled.

The storage type is not SU active.

But, the SUT missing in LQUA is generating the message "Enter SU type" when executing L_TO_CREATE_TR to a storage type with SU active.

I've already checked the customizing for Inventory and for move types 711 and 712. I couldn't find nothing relevant.

Tks in advance.

when you enter a count then you enter nowhere the storage unit type, hence this field is not filled if you found items where they have not been and a new quant gets created.

OSS note 584831 - Physical inventory count in Warehouse Management explains what you need to do in this case

Tks for your time Jürgen.

I really don't liked the note solution, hehehe.

But I'll find some way to put the SUT in the quant creation via exit/enhancement.
