Dear Experts ,

While creating remittance challan i am facing this error , can anyone advice what should i do to correct this error although the number range is maintained through SM30 for table "J_1IEWTNUMGR_1".

Message no. 8I706

Diagnosis

Number range object 'J_1ICHLNNO' is not maintained fully.

System Response

There is an error in the number range object and a new internal number can not be generated.

Procedure

Check if the number range object exists in your system and also check if number ranges for the number group is maintained for the current year. Maintain the number range object and then start this transaction. The transaction code for the number range maintenance is 'J1INUMBER'.

1. please maintain the number groups and number ranges

SPRO/FA/FAGS/WT/EWT/POSTING/INDIA/REMITTANCE CHALLAN

a.MAINTAIN THE NUMBER GROUPS

B.ASSING THE NUMBER RANGES TO NUMBER GROUPS

C.MAINTAIN THE NUMBER RANGES

2. Please use only Numetics.

Complete the following steps in your EWT customizing.

IMG -> FA -> FAGS -> EWT -> Posting -> India -> Remittance Challans -> Maintain Number Groups

IMG -> FA -> FAGS -> EWT -> Posting -> India -> Remittance Challans -> Assign Number Ranges to Number Groups

IMG -> FA -> FAGS -> EWT -> Posting -> India -> Remittance Challans -> Maintain Number Ranges

Go to SNUM and maintain the number range for object J_1ICHLNNO for your company code.
