How to copy notes of one planiing to other planning book

Hi

I need to create a new planning area and planning books as key frig's are changed from infocube base to livecahce based , so that , after completion of planning area i need to copy the data from old planning area to new planning area. I am able to that , but in my planning books i have some notes attached to some key fig's .. i need to copy those to new planning books . how can i do that , please help me in this...

Hi,

SAP has provided the report /SAPAPO/COPY_NOTES is provided for this purpose. Pls run the same from SE38.

Notes are at a Planning Area level. Each Planning Area has an internally generated note table /1APO/F10000nnnn which you can check when you go for Consistency Check of planning area > Notes.

So if you are created a new Planning Area you need to think of custom development to get notes copied from your existing planning area. You may refer to the report mentioned in earlier reply /SAPAPO/COPY_NOTES to understand the structures but that would not help as it is to copy notes from one planning version to another planning version for the SAME planning area.
