Download spools via background

Hello,

in SP01 it is possible to export spools (Spool Request => Forward => Export as text) - with SAP GUI.

Is it possible to run this export as background job?

If yes, how?

(I would create a share on the SAP Server, where the files would be stored)

I searched this forum and the SAP Help + Support Portal for a solution, but I was not able to find the answer.

We are using the following SAP Release:

Windows 2003/64 Bit; Oracle 10.2; Kernel 700 (Patch 246); SAP ECC 6.0

Hi,

It is possible to create "file" printers which instead of printing create a file on a share.

Check this Note 161516 - Printing into a file or anywhere else in NT

We 've been using successfully this technique for years to get reports as PDF files.

Hi ,

Your best bet would be your abap team who can do that one for you as there is no standard report of job that can do for you.
