Warranty management

Hi,

Process: There is a warranty for the material and for its sub components.

Warranty master is created with all the components for the main material. Some of the components will be inclusive in the warranty and some of them will be exclusive. This master record is assigned in the serial master data of the main material. Now in the service notification it shows the main equipment is in warranty. How to check which materials are covered under warranty and which material are not. How we can see this in the service notification?

Is there any way to track it or am I doing something wrong?

    Not quite sure on what is the issue, but you may look on warranty_period if something has changed. Are you making use of WTY transaction for claims ?

    Hi,

    In customizing if you select display dialog box ifor notification/service order/biiling request, you will get pop up if material is covered under warranty
