Hi,
mine is repetitive manufacturing process. I use MFBF to backflush my components and to perform goods receipts.
I have a req .
I want to create an inspection lot automaticaly for materials after the final goods receipt is done. How do I do that. we are newly implementing QM in our business. can some one explain me what are the master data settngs and config settings need to be made to execute this particular business scenario.
Do i need to use inspection information in my rate routing or not. for this scenario. and where exactly we need to use inspection tab in routing?
Hi,
U want to create inspectionlot automatically after final goods receipt.
for this following settings are reuired.
1. SPRO--> Quality Management >Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Creation>Maintain Inspection Types>select 04 inspection type. maintain tasklist usage and UD select ed set.
2. in material master , create qm view , in inspection setup activate 04 inspection type.
3. create routing.
as soon as GR is craeted through MFBF inspection lot for 04 inspection type will be created.

Follow following step:
1. Activate 04 inspection type in SPRO and assign appropriate selected set to 04 type.
2. Activate 04 type in material master, make sure that you select "insp. with task list" checkbox for 04.
3. Now once you do MFBF system will create 04 type of lot with stock in QI.
4. To do result recording you have to assign inspection plan to lot.
5. Create inspection plan (QP01) and assign required required master data to plan including MIC (QS21), Sampling data (sampling procedure, SDP)
6. Once you assign IP to lot you would be able to do RR at QE51N & then UD & stock posting at QA11.
Thanks!!!
Hi,
You need to activate QM View in the material master of the Rem header material with inspection type 13.
You need to maintain the Routing with inspection characteristics.
You need to create Inspection lots for proudction version . transaction MFPR.
