Hi,

The main difference between SRM 5.0 and SRM 7.0 is in TWO areas

1. Workflow

2.New Functionality

3. User Interface

Workflow

SRM 5.0 -Workflow is Application Controlled Workflow

SRM 7.0- Workflow is Process Controlled workflow - No need of N Step BADI implementation for N step Approval

New Functionality1. In SRM 7.0 -PPS -New Functionality for Procurement for Public Sector -We can do in SRM -Double cover Tendering process which is not in SRM 5.0 - In SRM 5.0 it is only single cover tendering process

In SRM 7.0 -Service Procurement -Many New Features are there.

User Interface:

In SRM 5.0 -The User interface works on ITS (internet transaction server)

In SRM 7.0 -It is Webdynpro concept,there is no ITS.

All other business scenario like Self service procurement,Plan Driven Procurement,etc are same.

Technical scenario are also same
