SAP ABAP1 access to system user.

Hi team,

I have logged into SAP HANA and my default administrator user is SYSTEM. Now I want to grant access of SAP ABAP1 schema to SYSTEM user. I am getting the error while executing the below code. grant-access.jpg

Could you please help in accessing the SAPABAP1 schema to SYSTEM user.

Hi Praveen,

The error is saying: The user SYSTEM cannot grant authorizations to itself. The owner of SAPABAP1 schema (e.g., the user that created it) should grant the authorizations to the system user.

By the way, I would recommend you create a user different from SYSTEM for development purposes.

The owner of the SAPABAP1 schema is SAPABAP1. PFB screenshot.

Now my question is, how do i need to assign the access of SAPABAP1 schema to SYSTEM. I am not sure of how to connect to HANA with SAPABAP1 user id.
