Database Explorer - No HANA Database in Database Type list

Hello,

I want to create some HANA Artifacts with the Web IDE full stack version.
But I can't add an HANA Database (On premise) in Database Explorer.

In DB Explorer, when I click on "+" to add a Database, in the Database Type I have not HANA Database in the list.

I'm pretty sure that we can work with an on premise HANA datababse in the Database Explorer but how ?

Thanks for your helps.

I read some informations about HDB Module, but I don't understand why I need this.

I need to change some CDS View directly in my HANA db.
The same process as Eclipse is not possible ?

Login to DB and just edit HANA Artifacts ?

For the first connexion to my DB I have to use a HDB Module in a fake project ?

Thanks,
Youri

I found this document :
https://blogs.sap.com/2018/11/10/sap-web-ide-vs-full-stack-vs-personal-edition/

Maybe in my case I have to use SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA.

yes, web ide for Hana is an on premise installation and can access Hana db in db explorer. You don’t need HDI Container., unless you are going to develop xsa based db obj

Hi Youri, you have to build at first your db-modul within your WebIDE. After that you will see it at this point.
