show sql query shows a different query from field explorer

Hi There,

I have an existing crystal report(crystal report 2008, version 12.3), when I used SHOW SQL QUERY, I saw a different query was called from the query shown in Field Explorer under Database Fields. This was done by a former coworker who has left.

Are they supposed to be the same? If they are different, how to make them different and why they have to be different?

How is the query different? How are you getting to the query under Field Explorer?
