I am using Crystal Reports version 11.0.0.1282. I have a series of existing report documents that have a default printer set. As soon as I open a report to edit it, Crystal tells me the printer is invalid and it is switching to my default printer instead. This is a problem - the user community for these reports are spread across a huge geographic area. They can see my local printer on the network, but cannot physically get to it. I need for the report to use the end user's default printer.
Is there a way to tell the designer to use the user's default printer? Failing that, is there a way to clear the default that's been set so the user doesn't automatically print to my local printer?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
In File -> Printer set up
Try checking No Printer in top left hand corner.
