Hi Experts,

I am new to SAP EDI - IDoc..

Does SAP IDoc able to read EDIFACT or X12 file format ? Please givel me the readable file formats for IDoc inbound IDOC from file using SAP std program or ABAP program...

Definetly you can read EDI/ANSI X.12 file format is into sap directly without converting them.

there should be some transformation(EDI-> IDoc) and mapping which will be generally done by XI or some 3rd party application.
