Delete DIR's existing in BOM

Hi DMS

I would like to delete some DIR's but i'm getting a message saying they can't be deleted since they exist in BOM, How do i delete the DIR's now?

Hi,

As explained by the christoph, you should first break the link with other DIR's. Then only you can delete that DIR.

Hi Charity,

the best possibility to remove DIRs out of a BOM is in transaction CV12. Here you have to enter the document data of the header document and then you will get all the BOM items listed up. In transaction CV12 you can then remove the DIRs from the BOM and afterwards you should be able to set the deletion indicator in CV02n.
