Sales Order link to Q3 Notification Type

Hello,

I am trying to configure the reference documents section of a Q3 notification type. It won't let me display the Sales Order fields on the notification even though the config settings allow it. We have a Q1 notification type with the same config settings and Sales Order is being displayed. Has SAP hard coded which fields can be displayed by notification type?

Hello Justin,

SAP is not hard coded for this, but yes, SAP has some standards for which initial screen is to diplay for which notifcation type. As Q3 is for internal notification, sales order reference is not there.

I dont know why you have such req, but you can follow the path QCC0--QN-Notification creation-define screen templates-Define initial screen. Here in Q3, you will find FM and initial screen no. 0140 screen no is for Q3. If you change that to 0120, you will get sales references.

Try it. But I will suggest to stick to standard one.

Hi Justin,

This sales order filed is available in Q3 notification check in Processing tab.

If this field is hidden then check below settings in u r system

Run QCC0 ---> Quality Notifications ---> Notification Type ---> Define screens templates

By selecting your Q3 notification check whether sales order field hidden

Field Selection: General Screens

Field Selection: Initial Screens

Field Selection: Reference Object Screens

Field Selection: Partner Screens
