How can i practice ABAP

I recently installed SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP Developer Edition SP02 7.51. What front-end component should i use to practice ABAP, i prefer to use similar tool as SAP GUI for Windows.

Use ABAP in Eclipse. CDS for ABAP is only possible in Eclipse, and CDS is one thing ABAPers should absolutely know (except if you want to learn obsolete things).

Hello you can use Eclipse as a developer tool. But you had to Install the SAP GUI and JAVA. See link: (https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#abap). Eclipse has nice features and it fits great into the architecture.

As you mentioned earlier, you could start developing in Eclipse, you need to install the Abap Develpment Tools for SAP Netweaver, If you need materials or videos, you can access open.sap.com or developers.sap.com.

He he. I still haven't got around to learning it. There's no use for it in the places I work.

Nonetheless, I still use Eclipse. Local versioning, more productive, doesn't crash when the network judders a little. Cool darkest dark theme available.
