Error While Creating Sales Order

Hi All,

I am trying to create a sales order for a customer & material. I am getting error only for one specific material:

The error says -

"Error: trying to order an exclusion item

Message no. V1899"

The order type which is being used is not relevant for listing/exclusion.

I did more testing & it seems like irrespective of a customer & a document type, i get the same error all the time.

Please advise.

Hi Allabaqsh,

Could you please check the message NO.? Is it V1899?

You could analyze why the exclusive master is deremined by check on the analysis on the VA01 overview screen before entering the material.

Menu->Enviourment->Analysis->Listing/Exclusive->On

Then the system will tell you what procedure has been used to determine the exclusive material.

You could use the information to check the master data in VB02.
