How to do a Cross field matching between different records using Match Transform?

Hi,

I'm trying to do a cross field matching between different records in a group.

For instance, consider below records with phone numbers, where I'm trying

Name, Phone1, Phone2, Phone3

David, 1234, 6789, 4444

Dave, 6666, 1234, 7777

The above two records should be matching as Phone1 in first record and Phone2 in second record match.

I tried with "Multiple field comparisons" in the Base_Match transform. But its not giving expected result as it only gives matching if Phone1 in both records matches.

Can anyone please help.

Thanks,
Dave

    Hello Dave,

Please check out KBA 1323629 and KBA 1323656. Based on your explanation it sounds like you may be using the 'same field to other records' option instead of the 'all selected fields in other records' option.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

    Hi Brandon,

Thanks for the reply. I tried both the options. But it gives inconsistent results both times.

What I did was, I added "Phone1" in the "Criteria Fields" section; and in the "Multiple Field Comparisons" section I pulled "Phone2" with selecting option "all selected fields in other records".

Even I tried with adding both Phone1 and Phone2 in "Multiple Field Comparisons" section.

    Thanks,

    Dave
