Filter panel design in design studio 1.6

HI Experts,

Please find the screenshot below. if you can see screenshot. in top i have couple of dimensions with the selections and components below now i want to add filter panel by keeping some button on header so whenever user clicks on button filter panel should be appear(like prompts we used get by application.openpromptdilaog()) and we need to capture those values keep in text boxes and it should effect all components in page.hope it clear if anyone didn't understand please let me know will explain in detail

so, now is there any workaround to get popup like that and capture those values and filter all components (and it should be cascading filter panel)

any one experienced this.any help would be really appreciated .Thanks

Your screen shot doesn't show a filter panel

Here's a filter panel, and it shows the values selected:

Maybe you could try the filter panel component, and see if it works for you?
