IDT show error com/businessobjects/mds/olap/metadata/internal/CubeImpl

Hello,

in HANA studio I create a calculation view, save and activate, no errors.

In IDT 4.2 SP 5 Patch 2 ( same version as BO Server )

I have a JDBC connection to our HANA DB 1.22..., works.

No I try to use this calculation view from sys_bic schema in IDT and get the error

com/businessobjects/mds/olap/metadata/internal/CubeImpl

Right click on view, Show Table Values, works

and the /view/hier.... also

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.businessobjects.mds.olap.metadata.internal.CubeImpl at org.eclipse.osgi.framework.internal.core.BundleLoader.findClassInternal(BundleLoader.java:483)

Hi Holger,

This seems to be the same issue, described in the following SAP Note: 2638682 - An error: com/businessobjects/mds/olap/metadata/internal/CubeImpl occurs in Information Design Tool when accessing objects under _SYS_BIC in HANA database

Could you please install the latest patch for BI 4.2 SP5, which is currently Patch 8 and let me know the results?

on my PC only.

Now I am able to use this CALC VIEW

what is with the client <-> server version should always be the same?

our BI server is far far away @ outsourcer
