Delete All BOMs to Enable Purchase Item Checkbox

Hi all

I would Like to enable Purchase Checkbox for Most of the Items in the Item Master But I'm unable to do so because the Item has been used in BOM already. Is it possible to enable Purchase Tick without deleting BOMs?

or I need to remove all BOMs and reupload after enabling Purchase Check Box in Item Master.

Please suggest any easy method to perform this activity.

its system behavior if item is used in BOM user cannot mark it purchase because its used

What is the BOM type? Sales BOM?

Sales BOM and Production BOM

I have deleted them all manually one by one and reuploaded after Making Purchase Tick for the items which needs to be done.

It would be helpful if there is a solution.
