Rules based product substitution in STO

Hi Gurus,

Is it possible to have Rules based product substitution in STO ?

I have done config for check instructions. when I click availability check in STO line item , the check instructions shows Rules based, when I click on Rules icon , getting message "No rule strategy or rule strategy sequence found for / /"

You are trying to perform a rules-based ATP check using the following activation parameters from the OLTP system:

Technical scenario

Business transaction

Action type

what will be business transaction in case of STO UB doc type , we assign this to sales order type only.

my Technical scenario: AA online, action type A create.

    Not for Stock Transport Requisitions. From SAP Help

    see the statements about halfway down the page. RBA is not available for STRqs nor Production orders.

    Hi AD,

    It is possible to have Rules based product substitution in a STO in Industry specific solution such as Aerospace and Defense
