Can we have different prices based on different uoM of sales?

Q1) Is it possible to have multiple uoM for Sales.

Eg. Inventory uoM = Each

Purchasing uoM=Box of 12.

Sales uoM = Box of 6 and Box of 12

So, is it possible to have two different uoM for sales? I know how to do it for one.

Q2) If price for each = 1 dollar, is it possible to have price for Box of 6 = 5.5 dollars and price for Box of 12 = 9.50?

Appreciate your suggestions. I am preparing for a demo for a prospect. So you could suggest for both 2007A and 8.8.

Thank a lot.

Hi,

AFAIK it's not possible from scratch, since only one UOM can be used for sales or purchases... Immediatly, the only usable way on which I can think without any addon is by using BOM.

You can setup pricing based on Qty.

ie. 6 pcs = 6 Dollars

12 pcs= 11 Dollars

etc.

This I am aware of - that is price by quantity. However customer wants a solitary different sales UoMs and not a multiple of a base quantity (eaches). Thanks.

Hmm, this customer deals with food items and has some more than 10,000 items. Not sure if BOM is the way to go in a dynamic environment (changing products that is different suppliers, different brands etc). Would you think so?

There is no way to have pricing by multiple UoM for sales.

We can have two of them, for example 6Pks within a Skid. Or multiples of 6Pks say 12Pks but price multiplies by two also. There is no mechanism to have different price besides multiple of 2.
