Rejection of Goods as Scrap and Sale thereof

Hi Gurus

In prod process, on confirmation of production order, inspection lot is generated, UOM of product is each. In Material master wt of the product is maintained. In QA32, while taking UD, stock is posted. Goods (qty) which fail quality parameters & are not reworkable are posted under Header Scrap, posted in each (UOM) but is sold in kgs. We have about 50 different products in regular production. We want to have

1. stock of scrapped material in kgs, product code wise as it should pick up wt of scrapped material, maintained in material master

2. when sold system should give balance stock in kgs (i.e. stock available in kgs on any particular day).

Hi,

What ever scrap is generated, you have to scrap it with movement type 551. Then you have to create a scrap material code with UOM as KG. Now upload the stock of that scrap material in KG with movement type 501.

You can see the scrapped material for a period in MB51 & stock of scrap material available in MMBE or MB52.
