Material Field Mandatory

Hi All SAP People,

How to make material field mandatory in VA01 initial screen SAP. Please give me the steps or transaction code.

Dear,

Create a Screen Variant by Tcode: SHD0 for Tcode: VA01 and assign the same Variant in Tcode:VOV8 for Sales Document Type in field Variant under Transaction Flow Tab.

Either you can use incompletion log for the same

or Use Tcode [SHD0|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a070bfbb-d34a-2d10-b092-ecbe0b0d4a4c]

Key-in Value as VA01 in the Field: Transaction Code

and Select appropriate variant.

And Click: Change.

Hi Anil,

You can append/modify your incomplition procedure assigned to item category. T codes are OVA2
