Hello all!
I am facing an issue regarding the forecast consumption in IBP. I think I configured everything as needed but the results are not relevant in my planning view. Here are the steps I followed :
4. Then I created a S&OP Operator Profiles with the following parameters :
Then in Excel, I created a Forecast Consumption Mode, pretty simple :
I assigned this Forecast Consumption Mode to my product/location combinaison :
And then in my planning view, I ran the algorithm.
However, the result are not the one that I expected. Here is what I have once I ran the algorithm :
Here is what I would have expected :
Is there anything I am missing or is it the expecting behaviour?
Thanks you very much for your help!
Have a great day.
Lisa
Hi all,
Thanks for your many answers and sorry for my late reply!
I found my issue. The input KF were not properly stored. I made a copy operator to avoid the issue and now it works as intended 🙂
Thanks a lot for your help!
Have a great day.

Hi Lisa,
Is attribute BOUNDARYID added in TWKFORECASTCONSUMPTIONMODE MDT? Also, is there a time boundary level set in forecast consumption profile?

Hi Lisa,
Your configuration and process is correct. I see that forecast consumption also working fine, see below based on forecast consumption master data mode backward 1 period and forward 2 periods. Thanks for your detail info.
Sales order 4000 on 2/18/2019 it consumes 1375 (2/18) + 1375 (2/11) + 1250 (2/25) = 4000 so 4000 (2/18) and 68 (2/25) total output forecast (first backward and then forward).
Sales order 1500 on 3/18/2019 it consumes 1242 (3/18) + 258 (3/11) = 1500 so 1500 (3/18) and 984 (3/11) total output forecast (first backward and then forward).
No forecast consumption on 3/4/2019 1242 demand because of sales order not covered this period same for 1242 (3/25) and 1167 (4/1).
Best Regards,
Lingaiah
