Problem with SAP BI analyzer

Former Member

Dear Friends,

I do have installed SAP GUI 7.1 into my system. I am using MS office 2003 and the Business explorer plug in is correctly added to the Excel (macros enabled). I am not able to use the newer version of analyzer as it seems inactive all the time. I am using the old 3.x version for viewing the reports that I already created with Query designer. Could anyone please help me on the same?

latest patch applied is gui710_18-10002995

Hi,

You have to install the BI AddOn Patch for GUI 7.10 from SAP Service Market place.

Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group" - SAP Frontend Components" - BI ADDON FOR SAP GUI" - BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10.

The latest patch level available is 1201 (bi710sp12p_1201-10004472.exe).

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Hari.

Thanks for the help.

But when I check the path given in the service market place, it seems blank. No exe file seems to be there.

Hi,

In SAP Service Market place, Goto SAP Support Portal -> Select Downloads Tab -> Select SAP Support Packages tab. On the left side menu, select Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group -> Choose SAP Frontend Components, then BI ADDON FOR SAP GUI. Here you can select the relevant version. The following are available.

BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10

BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.20

BW 3.5 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10

BW 3.5 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.20

Click on the required version (For example BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10) and then click on Win32.

Different versions of the patch will be displayed. Select the relevant one for you. The latest is

bi710sp12p_1201-10004472.exe BI AddOn Patch for GUI 7.10 Patch level 1201.

Get the help of your BASIS team for more information and installing the patch.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Hari.

Hi,

I am not sure why you can't see the files. May be an authorisation issue with your S-user ID. Sometimes you will get a message Service Unavialble if there is some maintenance going on. I'm not aware of any other links. Please contact your BASIS team or System Admin. They can help you to download and install the patch.

Hi,

I'm not able to check the screenshot as our network is blocking the link. I think it is an issue with the authorisation of your user in SAP service market place. This particular role may not be mapped to your user ID.
