Dear guys,
We follow the following steps to install BOE and IK on windows 64 bit platform, there no exception during installation, but the IK seems no work. There is no SAP items after we enter the 'CMC', in 'Authentication' page. What's happening? Any suggestion are appreciated.
1. Install BOE 3.1
2. Deploy JCo SAP JCO 2.1.9
3. Install Integration Kit 3.1( BOBJ INTG SAP SOLUTIONS XI 3.1 WIN / DVD#:51035068)
Best Regard!
Gerald
Hi,
Please check if folder named as "SAP" is available under C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer.
I had the same issue when I was using Unix instead of Windows. I doubt if Windows 64 bit is suitable for BOXIR3.1 for SAP Integration.
Regards,
Nisha

Dear Nisha,
Yes, the SAP directory exists in ...dataAccess\connectionServer.
Also, yes,Windows 64 bit is suitable for BOE 3.1for SAP Integration. There was a successful story in 64 bit on Windows server for BOE 3.1 in China just couple days ago.
How did you fix your issue? Could you just share it with me?
Thanks!
Gerald
Dear ingo,
Thanks for your suggestion.
The folder 'SAP' exists in directory of \Tomcat\webapps .
We're installing BO on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.
We followed the steps which your blogs tell, and installed BOE XI 3.0 successfully on the same machine. Now, we wanna upgrade to XI 3.1, but fails. We tried several times, got the same issue.
Here is our Installation source Info:
BOE 3.1 DVD#51035055( BOE XI 3.1 (SERVER/CLIENT TOOLS) WIN 1 of 3)
BOE Int. Kit 3.1 DVD# 51035068(BOBJ INTG SAP SOLUTIONS XI 3.1 WIN)
What missing?
Thanks!
Gerald
