Sales Quote customer Acceptance/ Rejection in SAP C4C

Hello Gurus,

As per the book, the sales quote customer acceptance or rejection will be in mail or any other offline mode.
We have a requirement, where we need to capture the customer acceptance in sales quote level. I thought of doing by

1. Using Survey and capture , then use the Data source to built a embedded report in Sales quote level. But there is no standard Data source available to capture the response from the customer for sales quote.

2. Use ERMS functionality, then create a ticket with the customer acceptance or reject in SAP C4C. Then link the ticket to sales quote( I don't prefer, seems to be a complex appraoch)

Is there is any other ways , we can achieve this functionality?

    A direct customer responds can be tackled with the planned Callidus CPQ (Configure Price Quote) integration. The quote tool within C4C can capture customer responses only if quote is requested via hybris commerce scenario (Request for Quote). The simple C4C quote output cannot fulfill this requirement.

    Why not using Reason for Rejection for lost quotes and/or custom extension to capture reasons for acceptance?
