SAP Cloud Connector Error: Service Channel cannot be opened

Hello,

I have successfully connected my SCP trial account with SAP Cloud connector (SCC v.2.11.3) that I have installed locally. I am also able to establish "Cloud to On-Premise" connection and subsequently call oData APIs located in on-premise from cloud application via SCC.

When I try to configure "On-Premise to Cloud" setup, I am running to the following error:

HANA instance cloudhana is hosted on cloud and is up and running without any issues.

Could you help fixing this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best Regards,

Gopu

Dear Gopu,

The following kba may be helpful for troubleshooting and reviewing configuration:

2697737 - Service channel could not be opened

If you see this error related to connection in ljs_trace: No dbAlias <DB_ALIAS> for account <YOUR_ACCOUNT> found. Response code: 404,

then this kba could help: 2648732 - Unable to retrieve forwarding tunnel routing and mapping information

Does SAP know why the issue is happening, just release the product with no resolution. SAP products are full of bug. That's the reason customers are going out of SAP. Very sad.

Hi,

maybe that helps: enter the name of your database in the field HANA Instance Name. You should not use the provided Database System name.

The suggestion list provided by SAP is worhless 🙂

Hope that helps.

Hi Gopu,

Are there any entries related to this connection in the cloud connector log file, ljs_trace.log?

Best regards,
