The data type of the component HWBAS of GT BSEG is not compatible with the data type of TXGRP.

Hello Everyone,

I am moving my one program code from one project to another another.

It's showing error as The data type of the component HWBAS of GT BSEG is not compatible with the data type of TXGRP. As i have checked all my code is correct but still its showing this error.

In BSEG there are 398 fields in my previous project client but now there are 406 fields in BSEG in my recent client where it showing problem.

I am not able to understand,please help me with your answers.

    I think your code is obviously not correct.

    In my 7.31 system HWBAS is a currency field. (Data element HWBAS, Domain WERT7, Data type CURR length 13 decimals 2). TXGRP is a numeric data element (Domain NUM03, Data type NUMC length 3 decimals 0).

    Clear HWBAS and TXGRP are not compatible. Since the former is Tax Base Amount in Local Currency, and the latter is Group Indicator for Tax Line Items which are completely different things, why would they ever be compatible.

    My guess, since you haven't bothered to post your actual code, is that you've something like SELECT ... INTO TABLE ... And you've not selected the right fields from the db, in the right order, into your internal table.
