How to change the free text.

Hi ,

I have a requirement in webdynpro abp change the filed from drop down to free text......

This scenario in sap e-recruiting Ehp4 version. in pesonal data screen we have a filed in name prefix in drop down format.

but i have to change to free text . i am new for this requirement can you help for this issue.

Hello Patrick,

I am not sure what exactly would be the text content that will be entered by user in your scenario. TextEdit Ui element could be the one you are looking for. Yes you can definetly change that.

You have to create the WD Enhancement for you view where you can delete the existing DropDown and replace that via Text Edit UI.

You have to change the population of the field accordingly in the respective methods.

Hi pradeep,

This enhancement i know. but in This drop sown value is geting from some table . and also table getting id but the value is displaying in screen. so if change the ui and make a input filed and bind this structuce fine. but the user enter some value how the value in store in table . becoz drop down getting id........

Give some another solution..
