    Pier,

    Hello and greetings.

As far as SAP Work Manager 6.3 is concern, the underlying platform or SDK (Agentry client) that supports the Android OS needs to be reviewed.

Assuming you have upgraded the Agentry client to the very latest SDK 3.1 releases (SAP Note references):

    • 2633024 - SAP Mobile Platform SDK 3.1 Release Information
    • 2632778 - SAP Mobile Platform SDK 3.1 Supported Devices Operating System

Please also note that Android 8.X based on the Android version history was first initially released on August 21, 2017 (2 years ago) while Android 9.0 was released on August 6, 2018.

The references above claims Android 5.0 to 9.0 support as of November 11, 2018 (Disclaimer: These documents can change without prior notice and it is required for users to recheck the latest documentation during the time of reference) .

At the end of the day, it should work and if you have any found issues, SAP is here to help you out by learning any field issues or bugs that needs to be fixed.

Component for Android/IOS/Windows Agentry client issue for bug reporting is: MOB-SDK-AGC <-- which stands for Mobility - SDK - Agentry Client. Use this if you open an incident tied to a newly found bug.

Hope this helps you out and thank you for your support for the SAP software with your clients.

    Have a great day.

    Mark
