Hi,

I am trying to satisfy AND condition. Doesn't seem to work. Here's my scenario.

I have an ID that has A and B. If the ID has both A and B then Yes else No.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Veena M

Hi,

Post your formula that you are trying.

Usually you can do using IF condition

=if ((ID) inlist ('A';'B');"Yes";"No")

Thanks,

Jothi

Hi Veena,

Do you mean if an ID has both characters A and B in it? Like from the list of values AB001, AB002, BC001, ACD01, ABD02 - the first 2 values would satisfy your condition, as those IDs have both the character AB in them. If you want to see flag such values, use the below formula.

=If(Match([ID];"*A*B*")) Then "Yes" Else "No"

(this formula to be used to flag any value that has characters A and B together or if there are any other characters between them, as we've an * (asterisk) between them)

=If(Match([ID];"*AB*")) Then "Yes" Else "No"

(this formula to be used to flag any value that has characters A and B together, as we don't have a * (asterisk) between them)

Let us know if that works.

Thanks,
