Question about SAP Business Objects and Crystal Reports

i found some Informations about it but i not really sure if i understand it correctyl.

Actually we are running SAP Business Objects 4.2 on a Windows Server. Our Users a using .unv Universes and the Webi Richclient.

Now i would like to test Crystal Reports for bigger Reports with much more Informations. I installed SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise on my Client Computer and wanted connect to our Business Objects Server to get Data from a .unx Universe which i created for Tests.

I'am getting the following Message when i want to open a unx Universe, but i can connect with the Repository:

Unable to connect to the InfoStore : (IES 00013)'

Does i need to install some further Components on the Business Objects Server to run Crystal Reports on it?

Principal Question: Why do you think that Webi can't handle bigger Reports?

Being "Big" is not a valid qualification for me here...

Most likely you have a firewall between your client machine and BO server and that's why you're getting an error.
See Admin guide for the BO, section "working with firewalls"
