CCMS: RZ20-MTE configuration

Dear All,

I am configuring a central monitoring system and I believe I am missing some fundemental steps. The things which I perfromed:

1. Followed the SPRO and activated the background job dispatching in CEN

2. Installed the agents CCM4x and CCMSPING and registered with CEN.

3. The agents are online in CEN and test connection is successful.

But I am not able to see the satellite systems in the MTEs (RZ20) in CEN system. Do I need to perform anything to activate the MTEs here? I could see the availability data of all satellite systems which is collected by CCMSPING. But all other nodes are empty. I couldn't find any relevant posts or documents which helps me. Could you please guide me where I am missing in configuration?

Hi Rajiv,

In RZ20 you can view all the system which are being monitored by CEN. Once you registered the ccm4x or ccmsr in satelite sytem succesfully. you will be able to see the satelite system in RZ20.

1.To view system you have to follow some steps.

RZ20-->Extra --> Activate maintenance Function

2. after that you have to create a Node.

Monitor --> New Monitor set (Give the Monitor set name ) ->save

3. click on monitor ser and again click on create . it will open one windows and there will be the list of all ssytems which are registered at CEN. just check all the MTE which you want to view and save it.

Next time when you open RZ20 you can view that system.

Hi

Go to RZ21 transaction. Select Technical Infrastructure-> Configure Central System -> Maintain System Groups and add your SID to the groups. Then go back to RZ20 you should see the system there.
