Hello All,
I am using the Backflush for my non-stock item material. The material is set up as “1- Always backflush” in MRP2. And I have reallocated the operation sequence for this component to OP40 in CA02. But when I flipped the order, the system assigns them to the first operation of the routing by default (OP10). It seems to be overwriting my routing settings, How to fix this issue. Please advice
My findings are as below.
The material assignment is done thru the CS01 and it will add it automatically. If I delete this material and add it manually then it works as per my CA02 setting otherwise the system assign to the first operation of the routings as default.
Is it try the routing allocation will work only for manually added material in the BOM?
Example: - I have added "PGMCAR" material under "CAR" and BOM assignment did thru the CS01. And reallocate the operation in CA02.
Hi Sathishkumar,
As per standard system behavior component of BOM allocated to OP10 by default
if you maintained component allocation in routing CA02 (say OP40) it will captured when create production order
Test/create order manually from CO01 first!

Muhamed

Yes, Muhamed, I did the component allocation in the routing CA02 to OP040 & setup the backflush but when I flipped the order into production, the system assigns to the first operation of the routing by default. Seems to be overwriting my settings in CA02.
But the same CA02 setting is works if I delete the BOM in the configuration and add it again manually (using CU51).
