Hi Expert,
The standard Functionality " Email activity" is not working, when i tried to create a new email in sales quote/opportunity . It shows the error message"Sending email is not possible, check system setup, save failed".
Note: Employee has a valid email address and it is allowed domain. Also i am able to send the email manually in email and fax settings in configuration activity.
Am i missing any config or scoping questions?
Regards,
Bhararathraj
This error can occur if you have selected that outgoing emails are marked as encrypted but No certificate is maintained for employee / business users e-mail.
If this is selected then the business user / employee should have a certificate which can be uploaded to the system either by emailing the certificate to the security channel’s email address or by uploading the certificate for the business user.
More details on the same can be verified under : SAP Cloud for Customer Enable S/MIME Encryption

Your incident is in good hands 😉 I shared this link with the current processor, maybe afterwards he can input his findings here. No thanks needed, my pleasure sir!

Hello Bharath,
The user might be restricted to the work center activities, e-mails view. You could investigate such restrictions in the business role, specially in the tabs ''Fields & Actions" where we can have several business actions restrictions.
Other than that, you should create an incident for us since we can see if our internal support user can perform this action or not - this will immediately discard any access restriction as cause of such scenario.

Hello Fabio Damasceno,
There is no restriction on business role level. So incident 3101167073 has been raised to SAP.
Thanks for the support!

Bharathraj
