B1: OADM.CompnyName NOT refreshing after update from DB

Hello everyone,

I noticed that the Company Name is not refreshing when i update OADM.CompnyName from DataBase.

Im exporting/importing from another Schema. After Import i update this field, but it`s not refreshing in B1 when i need to choose the Company. The schema is OK but the Company Name keep the same as the schema i exported.

Do u guys have any idea?

Hi,

I believe you are restoring the live dB as TEST dB in daily basis in order to have fresh copy of Live.

In this case, please try by updating "CompnyName" of CINF table too 🙂

Hello, is not the production dB. Is a copy of production.

It runs everyday, that why i need to change company name.

Hi Lucas,

It is not recommended to update SAP tables and fields via query / dB. If it is the production dB, then absolutely these actions should not be performed.

Can you please share the details how did you update this column? Have you used direct Update command on OADM table?
