Concurrent Employment (CE) Configuration and Activation

Greetings,

My organization has been live on SAP for 16+ years and would now like to activate the Concurrent Employment (CE) functionality to better serve our employees who do, in fact, have multiple appointments. We are currently on NetWeaver 7.4 and ECC 6.0 Ehp7/HANA DB.

Could someone direct me to possibly a cookbook or quick start guide on how to begin the configuration process? I have reviewed some of the various "help" available and these documents only seem to scratch the surface.

    you need to contact SAP via OSS message for activating it first as you need approval from SAP it fits your requirement

    There are multiple notes for the process

    We still must contact SAP for CE activation even though it has been in general availability for quite some time?

    • Hi Al,

      Actually you are right, requesting SAP approval is no longer necessary.

      2301823 - Activation of concurrent employment solution

      2402732 - Employee not found in PA20 / PA30 after upgrade

      The old release OSS note are obsolete.
