SRM - MDM

Hello,

I would like to know how do we work with srm-mdm.

Is there some thing like SRM-MDM integration first and then SRM-MDM CATALOGS.

If so can you provide me the links for both of the above.

Could any expert provide links for the documents which give a simple(in understand) and stright forword solution.
