Hi Friends,
I am facing one issue in updating condition records in A tables.
Issue is
when i changed valid from and valid to dates in VK12 , system updating both earlier record and changed records in A table . Please see the Screen attached screen shot .a625.png
Before Changing Valid from 06.03.2019 and Valid to 06.03.2019.
After Changing Valid from 06.04.2019 and Valid to 06.04.2019.
why system storing 2 records with same condition record number.
Please help me .
It is always recommended to execute VK11 for whatever changes you wanted to make including foreclosing validity period. By doing so, system will take care of one correct record. Do not execute VK12 to change any data there

When you are changing the dates' validation you are updating the same condition record; you are not creating a new one. And the table holds the changes' history.
If you are running a report and the duplicate condition numbers make it difficult to read, you can use the "valid from" and "valid to" dates to filter your data
