Not able to login to portal

Former Member

Hi

I am not able to login to portal despite providing valid user name and password.

Lgin screen reappears as soon as I enter my user id or password.

Incase I provide wrong password, then also it does not give any error message but the login screen again.

We have configured SPNego login module and I can enter in the portal if I keep windows integrated authentication enabled.

I can also login to visual admin successfully.

I am facing issues while trying to enter the portal using UIDPW way.

Any hints?

Regards

Vineet

Hi Vineet,

It may sound stupid. Have you tried to create a new browser session?

OR

Can you login to NWA?

Hi

I tried as you said but still negative output. I mean it did not solve the issue.

Any other suggestion?

I have given points for helpful answer.

You mention you have setup spnego authentication, did you also move the ume to the ADS (ldap management)?

You should check your logon stack, if it still contains the basis authentication logon module. You can do this in the visual admin tool -> server -> services -> security provider

Usually the logon stack is called "ticket"

Finally you should check the default trace ("logviewer") for logon errors. If all this does not help, then have a look at [982127 - Troubleshooting authentication problems|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/982127]

Hi

Thanks for your response.

Below are the logon modules available in logon stack

EvaluateTicketLoginModule

BasicPasswordLoginModule

SPNegoLoginModule

CreateTicketLoginModule

I am not able to draw any conclusion based on the Error in NWA.

Do not have access to SMP.

Request further support.
